USEA Area V is looking for its next chairperson. The chair serves a three-year term, which will commence in 2023, after completing a period of shadowing the current chair.

The Area Chair is expected to:

• Develop a schedule for recognized horse trials that meets the needs of organizers and competitors;  

• Work with organizers to improve competitive opportunities for members;  

• Act as liaison with the USEA national office;

• Attend competitions to better understand organizer, competitor, and member needs; 

• Convene at least one annual meeting-of-membership to facilitate communication among organizers, competitors, and members and to promote Area activities and initiatives.
